Built to forget.
The short version: anonymous audits are never stored, uploaded files are never written to disk, and nothing in the benchmark traces back to a buyer. The details, in plain English.
Computed, shown, discarded. An anonymous audit is computed in memory, shown back to you, and discarded. It is never stored.
Uploaded files never touch disk. When you upload a quote file, it is read in memory for extraction and never written to disk or storage.
Private to your account. When quote storage ships for subscribers, your stored quotes are private to your account.
Anonymized at ingest. If a quote ever feeds the benchmark, it enters as an anonymous observation — item, price, quantity, date. Who paid is never part of the record.
No single quote is recoverable. Bands only publish when three or more independent vendors back them, so any one contribution vanishes into the blend. No single quote — yours or anyone else's — can be read back out.
We do not sell personal data. Not to vendors, not to anyone.
Essential cookies only. ClearQuoter uses only essential cookies required for authentication. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies are set. Analytics are collected without cookies.
Auth and billing stay with specialists. Authentication data is handled by Supabase. Billing data is handled by Stripe.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to access. You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification. You can update your profile information at any time from your account settings.
Right to erasure. You can delete your account yourself, from the Delete account section of your account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent: it removes your profile, saved audits and outcomes, search history, audit usage records, contribution records and consent, benchmark requests, and your email from our mailing list, and cancels any active subscription right away. Two things are retained: pricing observations already accepted into the benchmark, which are anonymized and carry no link back to your account, and billing records kept by Stripe as required by tax and accounting law.
Right to restrict processing. You can withdraw from data contribution at any time.
Right to data portability. You can export your saved audits from your library.
Right to object. Contact hello@clearquoter.co to object to any processing of your data.
